Man, I couldn't believe what I was hearing during our Operations Meeting this morning... The ASEAN postponed! WTF??? We've been working like dogs to get this party started, and here they come postponing the whole shebang... What a bad trip...
I can just imagine all the thousands of people who sacrificed in different ways to get this show on the road...
Postponed for what...? They say it's the weather (there's a typhoon about to hit Northern Cebu), but the whispers in the hallways say otherwise... Five major countries have already cautioned against pushing through due to (drum roll please...) TERRORIST activity... Terrorists...? They're like cockroaches on a St. Bernard's shitpile... Don't they have better things to do...? I mean, GET A LIFE!
I can't imagine a guy stuck in his room for months, plotting to bomb, kill, or maim someone. It's just totally sick, mental, wacko, etc... Totally like a roach ready to pounce on a shitpile once the dog drops it.
ARRRRGHHH! Now I have to also contend with cancelling the barkada's Dumaguete trip in January, as the ASEAN NOC still will not give details of when it will finally push through... I've been wanting to go back there since I felt the party atmosphere around the town during their November Fiesta... Oh well, c'est la vie...
Well, anyhow, great job everyone, let's just hold on 'til next month. Hopefully it'll push through then.
In the meantime, I hope the government squishes the roaches that have caused this farcical situation.
